( On how much has been planned… ) Everything is mapped out – "This is where we're starting and this is where we're ending." There's some middle there that hopefully there's room to play with. But essentially that's where we're going.
The main thing we learned in doing this season is that we want to keep it smaller, on a more personal level next time. That it wasn’t the budget or the constraints of TV that forced the show to focus on the characters. It was the characters. There’s no reason to get too preoccupied with anything else.
I'm always striving to marry the differences between the comic and TV show. I really want the people who don't normally read comics to come away from a Buffy comic feeling like it was very reminiscent of a Buffy episode. I want people to not only read the book but develop an appreciation for the medium of comics, and while it's not a TV episode, I'm hoping people will come away thinking that really did read like an episode.

Tak, jest nawet w tytule. Czy coś ich łączy? Zobaczymy, na końcu sezonu ósmego Buffy nie jest w stanie nawet spojrzeć na Angela a Faith jest jedyną osoba która jest gotowa się nim zaopiekować. Okaże się, Faith bardzo dojrzała w sezonie ósmym.
